The Avro Vulcan is undoubtedly the most famous, and possibly the most important, post-W.W.II V-Bomber aircraft used by the Royal Air Force.
The Avro Vulcan was developed along with the Victor and Valiant to serve in the V-Force. It had the capability of nuclear weapons strike.
Falklands veteran Vulcan B.2 XM597 is on static display at the National Museums of Scotland, Museum of Flight, East Fortune Airfield, Scotland.
